Former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral passed away on 30 November. He was 92
He had been suffering from a chest infection and was admitted to hospital on 19 November. Gujral would have turned 93 on 4 December.

Former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral passed away on Friday 30 November at Gurgaon’s Medicity Medanta Hospital. He had been suffering from a chest infection and was admitted to the Hospital on 19 November. Gujral would have turned 93 on 4 December.
Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde announced the former PM’s death in Parliament. Gujaral was the 12th Prime Minister of India and was in office from April 1997 to March 1998. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh paid tributes to Gujral and called his son Naresh Gujral, MP, to express condolences, the official PMO tweet stated.
Gujral, apart from being a diplomat, was also a poet and author of several books in Punjabi, Hindi and English languages.
