DECLARING HIS support for a politician over a non-political person, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said on Monday that no party or the UPA government has spoken to him regarding the presidential poll as yet.
“The elections have not been announced officially as yet. There are no candidates. We will decide on whom to support after considering the (declared) candidates and their merit,” he said, while addressing mediapersons here.
SP’s Parliamentary Board will take a decision at an ‘appropriate time’, he added.
