Team Anna accuses 15 UPA ministers of graft
From Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram to Pranab Mukherjee, the list names several other Cabinet ministers

Team Anna on Saturday released a report on corruption charges against 15 United Progressive Alliance (UPA) ministers, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The report accuses the PM of corruption based on a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) draft report. As per the draft CAG report, the allocation of coal blocks to various companies without auction during 2004 to 2009, when the PM was at helm of the coal ministry, caused the exchequer a loss of Rs 10.6 lakh crore.
The report released by Team Anna also lists corruption charges against Pranab Mukherjee, P Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal, SM Krishna, Salman Khurshid, Sharad Pawar, Farooq Abdullah, Kamal Nath, Praful Patel, Vilasrao Deshmukh, Virbhadra Singh, GK Vasan, MK Alagiri and Sushil Kumar Shinde.
Team Anna has written a letter to the PM demanding that an independent investigation team of three judges be formed to probe the allegations. “The allegations are not new, but they are grave,” said Team Anna member Manish Sisodia.
“It's a tragedy that we have nobody else but the PM to complain about the corruption allegations against himself. What we are saying is that till these ministers are in the Cabinet, they won't pass the Lokpal Bill. There should be an independent investigative agency to probe the allegations,” Sisodia told TEHELKA.
“We have written a letter to the PM asking for our demands to be met by 24 July, failing which, we will be left with no choice but to start a nationwide movement,” said Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal at a press conference on Saturday.
