Art marries real estate in NCR

WITH AN investment of over Rs 200 crore in its first phase, Orris Infrastructure Private Ltd, one of the leading real estate developer of Delhi and NCR launched a 200 acre township on the Yamuna Expressway this week.
Named the Orris Curio City, the project is slated to offer the residents the options of different sized plots — 650 sq yards, 500 sq yards, 360 sq yards , 300 sq yards and 240 sq yards.
Talking about the theme, Amit Gupta, managing director, Orris Infrastructure Private Limited said that Orris Curio City will have theme gardens and a lot of green areas and social interactive zones.
“We would be using lots of artistic impressions and sculptures in the entire 200 acres. Through Orris Curio City, we are not selling living spaces, we want to engage the buyers conceptually — the concept of a unique lifestyle, set amidst lush greens. It is a concept of luxury and comfort, of imbibing art in our lifestyles”, he said.
He added that they have focussed on an amalgamation of the three styles of art – West Asian, European and Contemporary.
“These three styles have never been tried before and we will go till the last detail to ensure that the artistic elements are completely engrained within every aspect of Orris Curio City,” he added.
The township will have a mix of plotted development, villas, group housing, commercial establishments, clubs, luxury retail, 5-star hotel, business hotel and healthcare facilities, cut across different art zones. Each zone will have a different style of architecture thus lending individuality and a unique character to the zone.
Gupta added that the Orris Curio City will boast of a boulevard cutting across the complete township.

“The boulevard will not just provide accessibility but would have retail stores that cater to the complete township with daily necessities and hi-street shopping. The focus is on creating a self-sufficient integrated township,” he said.
“We have plans to build a four acre miniatures park called Curiotainment within the township,” he added.
Gupta informed that Kotak Realty Fund has recently invested in the company. Orris operates across five main verticals, including real estate, energy, hospitality, education and golf. It is amongst the largest land consolidators of Gurgaon and NCR with a land bank of over 1,000 acre.
The projects already underway in the residential segment include Orris Carnation Residency, Orris Aster Court and Orris Aster Court Premier being developed in over 29 acre at Gurgaon.
Its Floreal Towers project would be ready for delivery by year end. |
